Inspired by the nonchalant question from Onyx co-owner, Jon, "What about a spicy chocolate?" our Director of Chocolate got to work. Tinkering with different cacao origins and spice blends, an all-Asian inspired chocolate bar was born. Utilizing nutty & earthy cacao from Matasawalevu, Fiji & sweet and spiced cacao from Ben Tre, Vietnam a dark milk chocolate blend was born. Next, a gentle, spicy kick arrives from the addition of a Korean Red Pepper and a sweet fruity finish from dried mango bits.
