To honor this year's Summer Solstice, we partnered up with Sinistro Cigars to bring you our first Customs blend with them out of the Dominican Republic.

The Summer Solstice, marking the longest day of the year, holds deep spiritual and cultural significance for many Indigenous communities across North America. Traditionally, it symbolizes a time of renewal, growth, and connection to the natural world. For numerous Native American tribes, this turning point in the solar cycle is celebrated with ceremonies, dances, and offerings to honor the Earth, the sun, and ancestral spirits. Among these traditions, the sacred use of tobacco plays a vital role, serving as a conduit for prayers and a symbol of respect in spiritual contracts and ceremonial gatherings.

Tobacco, in its pure and traditional form, is far more than a recreational substance; it is a sacred plant used to communicate with the Creator and establish spiritual agreements. Known as the “Tobacco Contract,” the offering of tobacco is a deeply rooted custom signifying a person’s sincere intention when asking for guidance, sharing knowledge, or initiating ceremonies.
