This limited edition release is the first ever Crowned Heads cigar made at NACSA. The project began back in 2011 when Crowned Heads founders Mike Conder and Jon Huber traveled to meet with Gustavo Cura of Oliva Tobacco Co. and Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A. The pair gifted Cura a bottle of his favorite blended whisky, Johnny Walker Blue Label, which is famous for its iconic blue label. 11 years later, that specific bottle remains unopened, but it was the inspiration for this cigar, as Azul y Oro, which translates to “blue and gold.”
