This Customs gives the spotlight to the master blender at the Tabacalera La Isla factory in the Dominican Republic: Elvin Tavarez. Elvin is the man who rolled all the test blends for our 2022 Customs series, made the tweaks to the blends and oversaw their final production. When we learned that Elvin, who has been smoking cigars all his life, and rolling them for over 30 years, has never had a cigar to call his own, we knew that had to change.

We asked Elvin to create a cigar that HE would want to smoke - a cigar that represents his journey as a roller and blender. What you have in your hands now is the culmination of a life dedicated to the art and science of cigars.
